It was my first time at Cherrystones. A 40th Class Reunion for our graduating class of #GardenaHigh #classof78 #mightymohicans #gtownmightymohicans #gtownhomies was held here, everyone at Cherrystones was wonderful, looked after us all wonderfully the food is Onolishous! I loved my experience here!! It felt like a long-standing, family owned, locals’ favorite restaurant. The servers were attentive and kind as well! We ordered chicken teriyaki bento and salmon teriyaki bento. They both came out with various food with lots of veggies — broccoli salad, somen salad, a piece of orange, macaroni salad, teriyaki salmon/chicken, and rice. The broccoli salad seemed over-dressed, but other than that, everything else was just on-point!!! The salmon teriyaki had crispy exterior and moist and tender interior. The teriyaki sauce was also delicious and well-blended with the salmon. Somen salad was nicely seasoned and I liked the pumpkin seeds in the broccoli salad. They also gave a warmed up bread with butter as an appetizer, and oh my God.. The bread was irresistibly fluffy and moist, and smelled and tasted fresh, and the butter was also VERY good!! We killed the whole thing instantly and got kind of too full for the main dishes Anyhow, I’m going back there and I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s down for an authentic local experience with a selection of Hawaiian and American foods!

Huge servings, family owned, authentic asf, Hawaiian bbq. New local fav. Amazing Hawaiian oldies on the radio. Love it.

We were just passing through and looking for something close to our hotel, and so happy we found this spot! Because it was our first time, we got complimentary chili - definitely see why it’s 7 times award winning! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and very accommodating to make sure our order is to our liking. We had 2 bento boxes, Kaula pork and bbq pork. The portion sizes were perfect and the meat was very flavorful. The sides of macaroni and cucumber salad were just as good. We also had one of their many specials of the day, fish tacos, which were incredibly fresh and simple, exactly what I want for fish tacos. Next time we’re visiting LA, we’ll be sure to be back!

Famous chili! Great family owned joint. The staff is attentive and remembers when you come back for a return visit. They have specails on the whiteboard, and Always feel like you get more then what you paid. *Try to eat the chili cheese tutor tots in one go

Every meal here is a good one. I have too many favorite dishes, it’s difficult to choose my dinner. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. You too will find your favorite dishes here. They also do Holiday pick-up meals throughout the year.

We ordered the pineapple chicken, teriyaki beef, garlic noodles and hawaiian chicken salad. Everything was really good and the meat was tender. The salad dressing was so good.
